This guy debuted at Scone where he found a moderate maiden and despite a heavy track, he was far too good for them in a nice display. He’ll eat up 1400m I am sure and has good improvement to come. Rates highly for mine against these.

5 Good Sort (Bet Now: $6.50) is a Chris Waller trained juvenile that has an engine under the hood. Big win from him at Canterbury last time given he was wide no cover on speed but was trucking and found when asked to win and win well. Off that, 1400m is fine and he’s in the right camp. Hard to beat.

9 Verona’s Cleopatra (Bet Now: $17.00) looks a filly for Annabel Neasham that has an engine under the hood. She debuted at Hawkesbury over 1400m where she led all the way and was quite dominant from the front, beating up a field which did have depth to it, so despite being a provincial maiden, that form is strong for a race like this I feel.

1 In Flight (Bet Now: $3.40) is a ripping filly for Joe Pride that has to be respected as one of the key chances. This girl has won two on the bounce, both over 1100m at Rosehill, the latest being a fortnight back and credit to her, she had to dig in to get the win but found under pressure to fend them off and win. Harder here, but confident she measures up.

8 Cinematic Star (Bet Now: $9.00) commands respect for Ciaron Maher. This girl ran fourth to In Flight a few weeks ago at Rosehill where she got a fair way out of her ground and while she was never really a winning threat, she did make ground and was pretty good in defeat. Hard to beat if she can settle closer.

5 Detendu (Bet Now: $5.00) is a David Pfieffer trained gelding that was knocking on the door to break the maiden tag and it came at Warwick Farm last time where he made a mess of them from on speed, handling the conditions best and he made a mess of them in a dominant display. Harder here but think he can measure up.

1 Cranky Harry (Bet Now: $2.25) looks the one. Matty Dunn trained gelding that hasn’t raced since June 5 when placing over 1350m at Doomben, getting back off the speed and worked home with purpose in a good effort when a narrow second to Denied. Like him up in trip and a tick over trial last week was very good.

8 Amarantz (Bet Now: $14.00) will likely spot them a start but she should be strong at the end. She ran behind Toes In The Water a fortnight back in the Highway where she got back to near last and did make ground in a good effort. If she can get a drag into the race, she’ll be dangerous I am sure.

Long Shot

2 Associate (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is dangerous if he can find firmer footing. He found testing ground at Rosehill last time in the Highway and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was solid enough in defeat behind Toes In The Water. That was his first run in several weeks so with room for improvement, he rates highly.

9 Charming Legend (Bet Now: $4.50) looks the one with the upside/progression and Les Bridge wouldn’t run him here if he didn’t think he could measure up. He debuted on the Kenso where he was tucked in behind the speed and trucking before angling clear and he made a mess of them late to win and win well. Tricky draw, but with luck, he’s the one to beat.

11 November Falls (Bet Now: $4.80) looks suited back to this level. She was thrown in the deep end in a solid 78 a fortnight back at Rosehill and while held, she didn’t disgrace herself in defeat behind Bear On The Loose. Back to Midway grade, lands on speed, handles wet ground, leading contender.

13 Verbek (Bet Now: $18.00) is just about in career best form for Team Price and has earned a crack in town again. He has won two on the bounce, bolting up at Wyong two back before proving that was no fluke with a dominant display at Hawkesbury, leading throughout and was impressive. He can measure up for sure.

1 I’mintowin (Bet Now: $2.80) lands on speed and I think he’ll take running down. GaiBott trained gelding that has been strong in two runs back from a spell, the latest coming two weeks back behind Highlights at Rosehill when ridden with a sit and kept finding the line but seemingly had his chance. I think if he sits on speed, leads, and gets some form of control, he’ll be hard to get past.

2 Don Diego De Vega (Bet Now: $2.60) looks like he’ll be winning races down under, potentially starting here. Australian debut came over 1800m at Rosehill two weeks ago where he was crunched in betting and tried hard but had no answers late and had to settle for a second to Bear On The Loose. Better for the run under the belt, I am sure he’s going to take beating against these.

5 Rise To It (Bet Now: $15.00) is third up from a spell for Ciaron Maher and should just about be at peak fitness. This guy has just looked in need of his opening two runs for the prep, the latest coming at Rosehill behind Bear On The Loose. If he can find firmer footing here, he’s a big improver I say.

5 Anagain (Bet Now: $6.50) took an absolute eternity to win a race but it finally came at Rosehill two weeks ago where she gave them a start and a beating, launching late from the back to win and win well. Her confidence is up, she likes racing at Randwick and finds a similar race to last time. Appeals as a key winning chance.

3 Defining (Bet Now: $8.00) is always around the mark for Annabel Neasham and commands respect. She ran fourth to Anagain two weeks back at Rosehill where she got back in the run but worked home with real purpose in a strong effort behind Anagain. If she can settle closer in the run, I think she’ll prove hard to beat against this lot.

4 Mascaret (Bet Now: $9.50) doesn’t win out of turn but I think she has returned in pretty good order and should take beating. She ran over the mile at Randwick several weeks back where she got back to near last in the run and made up ground nicely without threatening behind Bright Red. Fitter, I think it all points to her running well.

5 The Little Pumper (Bet Now: $6.00) looks the likely leader and from the front, he’ll be hard to get past, as seen last Wednesday at Canterbury when leading throughout under Nash and he was quite dominant in the run to the line. He has to bring his midweek form to Saturday metro but a good racing style and in form. Appeals for sure.

3 Space Age (Bet Now: $6.50) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. He led throughout at the midweeks at Warwick Farm last time, giving them a spanking and he was impressive from the front. He has good room for improvement and seemingly strikes a winnable race.

7 King Of Florida (Bet Now: $26.00) has to be given another look for Chris Waller. Aussie debut came over 1400m at Rosehill two weeks back where he just got too far back in the run and was wide, so forgive and forget behind Elouyou. Fitter and up in trip, I do think he’s an improver and had trialled well leading in.

He ran over 1500m two weeks ago at Rosehill where he tried his guts out from on speed but just couldn’t quite get there when a narrow second to Highlights. Back to 1400m is fine, he’s hard fit now, in positive form…rates highly.

3 War Eternal (Bet Now: $4.20) commands respect for Bjorn Baker. He comes through the Highlights race from a fortnight back at Rosehill. He was back near last in the run and spotted those in front a start but worked home with real purpose late in the piece when third. Fitter, he can settle closer, takes beating I say.

9 Lady Of Luxury (Bet Now: $19.00) is a knockout hope. She is three weeks between runs since contesting the Gai Waterhouse where she got too far back in the run and although she made up ground, she was never really a factor behind Wollombi. She swims, she maps perfect, she can run a much improved race.

13 Unanimous (Bet Now: $20.00) looks ready to win for Ciaron Maher. He has been racing well without winning this prep, his latest run coming at Rosehill two weeks ago behind Amberite in a solid performance. He gets really good weight relief this time around, he maps perfect…only runs well.

11 Aramco (Bet Now: $5.50) is looking like a horse that will go to the next level for Chris Waller. First run for the stable came behind Highlights a fortnight back where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was really strong in his return. Might want one more and a rise in trip but he has a touch of class.

10 Miracle Spin (Bet Now: $18.00) has been strong in recent runs at the mile and is racing like he will appreciate a rise to 1800m. Latest run was several weeks ago at Randwick where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat behind Ruby Flyer. Like him up to 1800m and hard to beat if he can settle closer.

8 South Of India (Bet Now: $6.00) has done little wrong in a five start career and I am confident he can measure up against this lot. He ran over 1000m last start at Scone where he was on speed throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten, but he found under pressure and was strong to the line in winning. Good test here, but with his racing style, he’ll give himself every chance.

2 Plundering (Bet Now: $7.00) is an Annabel Neasham trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since March 9 at the Gold Coast on Jewel Day where he struggled on the very ordinary track surface when down the track behind This Is One. Trial was good, he handles wet ground…watch the market.

Long Shot

4 Alicia Roma (Bet Now: $11.00) is a talented mare for Team Snowden that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since Dec 20 when down the track and perhaps not 100% down the Flemington straight in the Kensington behind Katsu. Given a good break, has trialled up really well leading in and this isn’t an overly deep race. Keen to see how she goes.
