The 124th U.S. Open golf championship is being played in Pinehurst, North Carolina this week on the famed Pinehurst No. 2 layout. Pinehurst No. 2 was designed by architect Donald Ross. Ross designed hundreds of golf courses around the world and more than 50 in Florida.
