2024 UNDER 16 BNSW SCHOOL TOURNAMENT | FINALISTS – Basketball NSW

Basketball NSW extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the schools that participated in the Under 16 BNSW Schools Tournament. The event saw enthusiastic participation from young basketball talents across various regions, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.

The tournament, which brought together teams from different age groups and locations, has concluded its initial phase. The top teams from each category have now secured their spots in the highly anticipated Under 16s State Championships. This prestigious event will take place at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre on Tuesday, May 28th, and Wednesday, May 29th.

U16 Boys Division 1

Wagga Wagga – Winner: Trinity Anglican College, Runner Up: Xavier High School

Coffs Harbour – Winner: St Columba Anglican School, Runner Up: McCarthy Catholic College

Penrith – Winner: St Dominic’s College Kingswood, Runner Up: St Luke’s Grammar

Maitland – Winner: Hunter Sports High School, Runner Up: St Pius X College

Bankstown – Winner: St Aloysius’ College, Runner Up: St Augustines College

About the Schools Tournament: 

The BNSW School Tournaments consist of regional tournaments for both Primary and Secondary Schools. These tournaments culminate in the top teams from each region competing at the State Championships where the best team from NSW will be crowned. These tournaments are open to all New South Wales schools.
