Race 1. (12:02) Quayclean (Bm76) 1000m

Back Me
3 Squad (Bet Now: $5.00) looks suited at 1000m here and with his jump/run racing style, he takes beating I’d suggest. Dominant win two back at Cranbourne before going to Sandown where he led and gave a sight but couldn’t quite see it through behind Mrs Chrissie. Back to this level, he is the one to beat.
Danger
5 Old Time Rock (Bet Now: $6.00) is a beauty for Andrew Clarken that resumes. He is first up after a fab Summer/Autumn prep, where he went from being a midweek horse to a proven Saturday metro performer. He is a horse who can sprint well fresh and with so much speed in front of him, he sits back and launches late.
Long Shot
6 Chosen Blonde (Bet Now: $17.00) lands on speed and if the track is playing up/in, she takes running down. She just did a bit too much work on speed two weeks back at Murray Bridge and she tried hard from the front end but couldn’t quite see it through and tired late. If she finds the front and gets some form of control, she takes running down.
Race 2. (12:37) Hahn (Rs0mw) 1000m

Back Me
4 Kong (Bet Now: $15.00) looks worthy of an each way speck. He ran last Saturday over 1100m at Morphettville when second up from a long spell. Like first up, he trucked and loomed to win but just couldn’t quite finish it off behind The Hass. Third up from a spell so he should be at peak fitness and his best is more than good enough.
Danger
3 Wally West (Bet Now: $4.50) has an awful winning strike rate but he is a horse who does have an engine under the hood. He ran a fortnight back at Murray Bridge where he got back in the run and did make up good ground without threatening late in the piece behind The Great Baby. This looks more within his reach and for mine is hard to beat.
Long Shot
9 Willaston (Bet Now: $16.00) is three weeks between runs for Ryan Balfour since resuming over this track/distance where he got into a decent spot off the speed and tried his guts out but couldn’t quite finish the job but was still a pass mark in defeat behind El Salto. Better for the run, good second up record, not dismissing him.
Race 3. (13:12) Croser Hcp (64) 1950m

1 Ichibansan (Bet Now: $5.00) is knocking on the door to win for Clarken/O’Shea. He has been runner up his past two, the latest being two weeks ago at Murray Bridge over 1800m when off the speed and trucking before angling clear and tried his guts out but found one better in Tippa, who won last Saturday to frank the form. Bursting to win a race and strikes a winnable race here.
Danger
2 Imposing Suspect (Bet Now: $10.00) is another in a purple patch and rates highly. Peter Hardacre trained gelding that got the job done over 2050m at Balaklava last time, getting the suck run in transit behind the speed before angling clear and in a driving go, was too good. Has run well in town before so not dismissing him here.
Long Shot
9 Hayai Mesu (Bet Now: $8.00) is a Clarken/O’Shea trained mare that is a knockout hope. This mare ran in the Tippa race from two weeks back where she had a suck run in behind and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there and had to settle for a held fifth. Not sure I could back her to win but is a must for exotics.
Race 4. (13:47) Sportsbet Jockey Watch (Bm82) 1550m

Back Me
10 Peacemaker (Bet Now: $11.00) is a beauty for Chris Bieg and commands respect I say. He put together three wins on the bounce before going to Murray Bridge a fortnight back where he just got too far out of his ground and spotted those in front too much head start but really liked the way he found the line behind Favourite Child. Good record on the Parks track, he appeals.
Danger
4 Prince Jofra (Bet Now: $7.00) is a model of consistency for Travis Doudle and is 3/3 at the 1550m here. He ran in the race mentioned above from a fortnight back at Murray Bridge where he got off the speed but was quite one paced when asked for the effort and just whacked to the line behind Favourite Child. More positive ride, he can win.
Long Shot
3 Montign (Bet Now: $23.00) will love the rise in trip. Stuart Padman trained gelding that ran over 1200m last Saturday where he got back to near last in the run and failed to make up any real ground when down the track behind Episodic. Like him on the back up and up in distance, he can take this out at odds.
Race 5. (14:27) Fleurieu Milk Company (Bm66) 1000m

Back Me
5 Lingani (Bet Now: $4.60) looks to have returned in really good order and should take beating against these. She resumed with a bang when an arrogant first up winner at Balaklava before going to Murray Bridge a fortnight back when wide with cover before presenting wider and tried hard but Surprise Coming was too good. Like her back to the short course and she’ll launch late.
Danger
9 Desert Dancing (Bet Now: $8.50) is a talented filly for Clarken/O’Shea that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since Feb 24 at Morphettville when wide no cover on speed and just felt the pinch late when down the track behind Vexatious Dancer. Good fresh horse and her recent trial was sharp so keen to see how she goes.
Long Shot
14 Reine Of Nine (Bet Now: $31.00) doesn’t have the best of winning strike rates but she is an honest filly that should be around the mark. She ran third to Everglade two weeks back at Murray Bridge when just off the speed throughout and tried hard but just lacked the finale to go with the winner. Must for exotics.

5 Big Brute (Bet Now: $9.50) looks a nice juvenile on the up for Chris Bieg. This gelding debuted over 1200m at Balaklava where he got into a decent spot just off the speed before angling into clear air and let down with purpose to win and win well in a strong debut. Like him up to 1400m and has a stack of improvement/upside.
Danger
1 Colmar (Bet Now: $5.50) is a beauty for Daniel/Stanbury and I think up to 1400m should be fine. He was a dominant winner a fortnight back over 1200m at Murray Bridge, leading throughout and credit to him, he was there to be run down but he was strong to the line and in the end, was dominant. 1400m looks ideal and with that racing style, he’ll get every chance.
Long Shot
2 Dancing Storm (Bet Now: $4.60) has to be respected as one of the key chances. He ran behind Colmar at Murray Bridge where he was five and six wide no cover throughout and despite the hard run, he kept finding the line and was good in defeat when second to Colmar. Think with a more economical run in transit, he can take this out.
Race 7. (15:42) Happy 18Th Cooper Barlow (Bm66) 1250m

7 Great Maximus (Bet Now: $3.60) looks the one for me. Team Jolly trained three year old that ran over 1200m at Murray Bridge two weeks ago where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never threatening, he did make up ground and was quite good in defeat behind impressive winner Surprise Coming. If the gate can be used to advantage, he takes beating.
Danger
1 Fly On Bye (Bet Now: $6.00) is one of the leading contenders. This Victorian raider comes here off a win at Wangaratta when near the speed throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to fend them off and got the job done. Good winning record, good racing style, gets the claim…appeals.
Long Shot
8 The Seven Seas (Bet Now: $13.00) has to be given another look. This mare resumed four weeks ago on the course proper here when wide no cover throughout and that hard run just told late in the piece, finishing down the track behind Starlite Valley. Looked sharp in a tick over trial last week and her prior form is more than good enough to take this out.
Race 8. (16:20) Grand Syndicates (Bm78) 2250m

2 Lake’s Folly (Bet Now: $4.20) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. Michael Hickmott trained galloper that was a dominant winner three weeks ago on the Parks track, sitting just off the speed before angling wider into clear air and his change up speed was impressive, putting them away with relative ease. Only has to run up to last time and he just about wins again.
Danger
5 Dixie Whistler (Bet Now: $5.50) is a track/distance specialist and comes here off a win. That win came over 2500m last Saturday on the course proper here. She was on speed throughout under Livesay and the mare, as she always does, fought on very well and just kept chipping away to fight them off and win. Back to her pet track/distance, she appeals.
Long Shot
9 Smiling Assassin (Bet Now: $15.00) should appreciate a rise to 2250m for Garret Lynch. He ran two weeks back over 1800m at Murray Bridge where he got back to near last in the run and made up some headway without threatening Tippa, who won again last Saturday to frank the form, so that clearly reads well for this.
Race 9. (16:55) Sportsbet Same Race Multi (Bm66) 1400m

10 Komachi (Bet Now: $11.00) should eat up 1400m for Clarken/O’Shea. He had a couple of runs at 1500m and was good in defeat before starting again, racing over 1000m before going to 1200m a fortnight back and was good in defeat behind The Great Baby. He’ll love getting a rise in trip and takes beating with a more positive steer.
Danger
8 Merchant Boss (Bet Now: $3.60) is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday at Morphettville when doing work from the gate and loomed to win but just couldn’t quite see it through and felt the pinch late behind Willybeafactor. If he gets a better run in transit, he takes beating I say.
Long Shot
6 Bit Of A Rebel (Bet Now: $9.50) has a good second up record and looks to be in for a good prep. He resumed two weeks back over 1200m at Murray Bridge where he got into a decent spot near the speed and was there to be dangerous but first up, condition just gave way late in the piece. Fitter and up in trip, he’s a definite improver.
