#11 – Lowlands @ $2.90
Lowlands hit the line nicely for second on debut at Geelong, and she’s good enough to go one better.
The three-year-old filly by Exceed and Excel had good betting support on debut, and punters get a better price here.
We’re happy to include her at the current odds.
Race 3. (13:20) Veolia Maiden (1500m)
#2 – Dazzling Sky @ $4.60
Dazzling Sky has been threatening to win a race after two placings this preparation.
The three-year-old gelding by Sooboog was only three lengths behind the winner, and he’s good enough to improve.
We’re liking the each-way odds available.

#5 – Fifi Blue @ $4.40
Fifi Blue has been threatening to win a race after posting five placings from her last six starts.
The four-year-old daughter of Fiorente is a three-time winner overall, and racing at Ballarat could see her best form return.
Getting 3kg off her back makes her tough to beat.
Race 7. (15:45) Simon Davey Memorial BM70 (1400m)
#13 – Maisy @ $4.20
Maisy’s odds have drifted after opening at $3.70, but we’re still backing her to stay unbeaten.
The three-year-old filly by Seymour scored by a nose as a $7.00 chance, but she showed good fight in the run to the line.
Getting in with 54.5kg makes her tough to beat in an even betting field.

Nomorenightshift looks to make a winning debut after a solid trial placing at Scone.

Barrier 13 makes it harder, but she could finish best.
Race 5. (15:26) Dubbo RSL Country Classic BM58 (1300m)
#6 – Allay @ $7.00
Allay comes off an overdue win at Dubbo, and having winning form at the track is ideal.
