6 Mayfair (Bet Now: $2.70) gets the nod but not really a race I want to get involved in. GaiBott trained filly colt that has looked strong in trial work for start one, the latest trial seeing him win over 1050m at Randwick when moving well and was impressive despite a narrow margin. Looks the leader and will be hard to run down.
Danger
1 Winning Proposal (Bet Now: $2.45) has done little wrong in a four start career for Kristen Buchanan and commands some level of respect. This filly was a strong on speed winner at Warwick Farm last time, sitting outside the speed before being clicked up and showed good ticker late to fend them off and win. Good racing style, hard fit and handles wet ground.
Long Shot
3 Brave One (Bet Now: $7.50) is a well bred colt for Team Hawkes that is on debut. This guy has had two trials to get ready for start one, the latest trial seeing him win over 900m at Rosehill where he ran decent enough time and seemingly moved really well I thought. Maps perfect and stable has found form with their juveniles in recent times.
Race 2. (11:40) Robrick Lodge Eremein (Bm72) 1300m

Back Me
5 Lady Boss (Bet Now: $3.40) is a talented filly for Ciaron Maher that looks to have returned in really good order. This girl resumed at the midweeks at Canterbury where she sat on speed throughout and was trucking before being clicked up by Gibbons and away she went, drawing clear for a dominant win. Harder here, but confident she measures up.
Danger
3 Power Of The Brave (Bet Now: $9.50) has run well in town before and seemingly has good upside I feel. He was several weeks between runs when racing over 1250m at Newcastle last time where he got off the speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort when third. Better for the run, maps perfect and gets Nash.
Long Shot
1 Chevron (Bet Now: $17.00) is an interesting runner. Kristen Buchanan trained galloper that comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since the Scone Carnival where he struggled in the conditions behind Elson Boy, who is flying. Tick over trial was good and his best is more than good enough to threaten this lot.
Race 3. (12:15) Midway (Bm72) 1200m

Back Me
7 Rush Hour (Bet Now: $7.50) is a smart three year old when right. He ran over 1200m in the Midway a few weeks back where he looked all over the winner when presented but just couldn’t quite see out the six furlongs on the ground and was nabbed late by Flightcrew. Has that 1200m run under the belt, he should take beating.
Danger
3 Cripps Tonite (Bet Now: $9.50) is a beauty for Nathan Doyle that commands some level of respect. This guy ran in the Midway three weeks ago at Rosehill when on speed throughout and tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite finish it off and felt the pinch late when third to Flightcrew. He was only second up there so hard fit now, he’s a key chance.
Long Shot
6 Nosey Parker (Bet Now: $14.00) is a son of Choisir that resumes for Paul Perry. He has run well at Midway level previously and looks to have found a nice kick off point. He is a horse who can sprint well on the fresh side and his trial work to get ready for the return has been quite encouraging.

10 Clear Thinking (Bet Now: $1.95) looks a potential jet for Messara/Gavranich. This beautifully bred mare is 2/2 to start her career, both on the home deck at Scone and each time she has won without really being fully extended, the latest being a couple of weeks ago over 1200m. Destined for better races and confident she can make it 3/3.
Danger
5 Syrian Star (Bet Now: $15.00) looks to have come back in really good order for Rod Northam and should take beating. She resumed in the Highway here four weeks ago and worked home with real purpose late, just missing out on the win when second to Nipotino. That was over 1100m so fitter, up to 1200m, I think it points to her running really well.
Long Shot
11 Tai Lung (Bet Now: $23.00) should appreciate getting back up to 1200m. Game third in a Highway at this track/distance two back before going back to 1100m a few weeks back here and was very good late in the piece behind Nipotino. Extra 100m again is fine and if she can get a drag into the race and be within range, she’ll take beating.
Race 5. (13:25) Task (Bm78) 2000m

2 Age Of Sail (Bet Now: $5.00) is a very nice horse for Kris Lees with a stack of upside/improvement. He resumed several weeks ago over 1800m at Eagle Farm where he just got too far back in the run but really liked the way he finished his race off behind Princess Rhaenys, who has since won again. Fitter and up in trip, he has class and that will carry him a long way.
Danger
1 Fengarada (Bet Now: $7.50) is one of the better swimmers going around and he does get conditions to suit. He was very good when resuming at The Bool behind Rolls before going to Sandown where he found firmer footing and struggled behind Pudding. He finds his preferred wet ground and his best is very good, so not dismissing him.
Long Shot
12 State Of America (Bet Now: $21.00) can run a much improved race on firmer footing. He ran behind Decadent Tale a few weeks back where he got back to near last in the run and made up minor headway without threatening. Hard fit now, his best is more than good enough to take this out.

1 Jedibeel (Bet Now: $3.20) seems the straight bat play. Brad Widdup has this bloke humming at the moment, winning two of his three runs this prep, with a narrow second at Scone in between. The win over 1100m at Canterbury last time in a much stronger race than this was dominant and despite the wide gate, weight increase, he takes beating.
Danger
6 Plundering (Bet Now: $7.00) is an Annabel Neasham trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since March 9 at the Gold Coast on Jewel Day where he struggled on the very ordinary track surface when down the track behind This Is One. Trial was good, he swims…watch the market.
Long Shot
4 Dehorned Unicorn (Bet Now: $20.00) is an improver for Mark Minervini. First run for the stable came over 1000m at Randwick four weeks back behind Fleetwood where he got back and was never really a factor. His best is more than good enough to take this out so watch the market.

4 Alicia Roma (Bet Now: $16.00) is a talented mare for Team Snowden that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since Dec 20 when down the track and perhaps not 100% down the Flemington straight in the Kensington behind Katsu. Given a good break, has trialled up really well leading in and this isn’t an overly deep race. Keen to see how she goes.
Danger
8 Wild Botanica (Bet Now: $4.60) is a leading chance. Joe Pride trained mare that ran over this trip three weeks ago at Rosehill when on speed throughout and tried her guts out but couldn’t quite finish the job, nabbed late by stablemate In Flight, who won again last Saturday to frank the form. Fitter, good racing style, she appeals.
Long Shot
5 Our Bellagio Miss (Bet Now: $13.00) is one I can entertain for wider exotics. She ran a few weeks back behind Fleetwood where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she kept finding the line and was quite good in defeat. If she can settle a pair or two closer, she can run top four for sure.

Each way here for me via 9 Junipal (Bet Now: $13.00). He’s one of the better wet trackers going around and has been crying out for wet ground hence why Maher brings him here, looking for rain. I dare say the wetter the better, and I am hoping the rain does hit and hit hard. He’s sneaky flying this horse and with conditions to suit here, on the minimum, will be strong late. Going to take the gamble.
Danger
I want to give 7 King Of The Castle (Bet Now: $5.50) another chance. Joe Pride trained gelding that ran over the mile at Flemington two weeks ago where I thought for the most part, Shinn gave him every chance, except for the fact he peeled out a touch early because this horse does have a short burst then just whacks and he hit the button too early. I think with a more patient steer, he can take this out.
Long Shot
10 Flying Crazy (Bet Now: $13.00) is an enigma for Team Hawkes but I do concede that he seems to be flying. Close up second over 1300m here two back before going to the Civic last Wednesday at Warwick Farm where it was pretty much a barrier trial for him. Got back, badly held up and was under a hold throughout. Off the run prior, he can take this out.

5 Contemporary (Bet Now: $3.00) looks to have returned in really good order for James Cummings and rates highly for me. This guy resumed with a bang when giving them a start and a beating to win at Hawkesbury on their stand alone meeting. Been given a good freshen up, tick over trial was strong and he does have a liking for Randwick. Like him here.
Danger
14 Disneck (Bet Now: $3.90) is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday at Rosehill where he got too far back in the run but worked home with real purpose when second to in form filly In Flight. The rise to 1200m, I think, is okay, he’s down in the weights…rates highly.
Long Shot
7 With Your Blessing (Bet Now: $8.50) is capable of bouncing back. He has been kept on ice, having not raced since June 8 when down the track but far from disgraced in the Bob Charley behind Mnementh. He’s third up now so he should be hard fit and he did look sharp in a tick over trial win, over 1200m as well, so the grounding is there.

10 Pure Alpha (Bet Now: $3.40) is a talented three year old that is heading in the right direction. Chris Waller trained three year old that has done nothing wrong in his short career to date. He resumed with a close up second at Warwick Farm before going to the Kenso where he knuckled down with purpose late and was strong to the line in winning. Keen to see him at Saturday metro level.
Danger
9 Rhapsody Chic (Bet Now: $4.40) is a line finder and handles wet ground. Team Freedman trains this gelding, who is 2/2 this time in, winning fresh at Seymour before stepping up to metro grade at Sandown and found under pressure to fend them off and win. Good test here against some of these types but confident he can measure up.
Long Shot
11 Green Shadows (Bet Now: $26.00) is dangerous with his best. Superb first up winner at Warwick Farm before a a few of runs where he has been solid each time with excuses, the latest on the Kenso when back and making up some ground without threatening behind Pure Alpha. Genuine tempo (hopefully), he can take this out despite the gate.
