Shoppers at a major centre in regional Victoria have been confronted with wild scenes as 15 people piled into a brawl on Thursday afternoon.
Police seized multiple weapons.
The incident happened about 2.30pm. One person was taken to hospital, and one man was arrested.
Police swarmed to the “affray” at the Mid Valley Shopping Centre in the town of Morwell in Gippsland, shortly before 2.30pm.
At least six police cars attended the shops, after the fight inside the centre sparked Triple-zero calls.
“Police seized a number of weapons which may have been used during the incident,” a police spokesperson said.
“One of the people involved in the affray has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
No other injuries were reported.
