Nick Kyrgios tells Novak Djokovic ‘I don’t like you’ because of Carlos Alcaraz

Nick Kyrgios told Novak Djokovic “I don’t like you” during his live commentary of Cameron Norrie vs Jack Draper at Wimbledon. The Aussie tennis bad boy has been hired by the BBC this year and was opening up on his relationship with the Serb.

The pair hated one another during their early stages but Kyrgios stuck up for Djokovic when he kicked out of Australia in 2021.

They have since formed a blossoming bromance and were scheduled to practice together at Wimbledon on Wednesday but rain forced them to cancel the session.

Kyrgios took a cheeky shot at his new friend by claiming he let Carlos Alcaraz beat him in the 2023 Wimbledon final, which was an epic five-setter.

He wishes the 37-year-old would have let him have the same luck when they faced off in the 2021 Wimbledon final.

“I still don’t like you Novak if you’re listening. You gave Carlos one one year but you didn’t give me one,” Kyrgios said.

“It is still one of the best matches I’ve watched. One of the only ones from start to finish.”

Earlier this year Kyrgios revealed just how close he had become to Djokovic.

“We had a rocky relationship at the start and there were a couple of things changed,” Kyrgios told Eurosport.

“Now we literally speak every day with him I’ve had some crazy messages.

“We send memes to each other. He hit an unbelievable volley the other day and I said to him where did you get these hands from? You didn’t have them against me at Wimbledon!

“Then he responded; ‘oh I got them from you!’”
