Three Aussies Scoop $10M Saturday Lotto Loot

Three lucky winners matched all six numbers tonight in the Saturday Lotto draw, held on July 6, 2024, splitting the $10 million Division One prize pool three ways.

The draw, number 4483, featured winning numbers 4, 20, 26, 3, 15, and 44, with supplementary numbers 7 and 35.

The Division One prize pool of $10 million was split among the three ticket holders, with each punter bagging an aesthetically pleasing amount of $3,333,333.33. To avoid technical underpayment, lottery authorities would round the actual payout up to $3,333,333.34, as a cent is the lowest denomination and 10 is not evenly divisible by 3.

According to preliminary division matches to numbers registered for tickets at the points of sale, two of the winning entries were sold in NSW and one in Victoria. 

Besides the $10 million for the top division winners, another $16 million were distributed among lower division winners.

Here’s the detailed breakdown of the prize distribution:

• Division 1: Three winners shared $10,000,000.02, each receiving $3,333,333.34.
• Division 2: Seventy-one winners each took home $10,865.70, totaling $771,464.70.
• Division 3: One thousand three hundred thirty-seven winners received $873.30 each, amounting to $1,167,602.10.
• Division 4: Sixty-seven thousand nine hundred twenty-seven participants won $25.50 each, leading to a total of $1,732,138.50.
• Division 5: One hundred seventy-eight thousand one hundred thirty-one winners were awarded $15.20 each, summing up to $2,707,591.20.
• Division 6: The largest group, with nine hundred fifty-seven thousand four hundred ninety-six winners, each received $8.60, contributing to a total of $8,234,465.60.
