Woman arrested after man’s body found in Adelaide home

A woman is expected to be charged with murder after a man was found dead at home in Adelaide’s north-west.

Emergency crews were first alerted that “a man had been injured” at a home on Medina St, Taperoo at 8.40am Sunday, SA police said in a statement.

Upon arrival, police found the body of a 60-year-old man.

A 58-year-old woman, who was known to the man, was arrested at the home.

She is expected to be charged with murder and will face the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday, police said.

Western Districts Detective Inspector Christie Matthews said police were investigating the circumstances of their relationship.

“There’s not thought to be anyone else involved in this matter,” she said.

“We understand the female at the home contacted emergency services.”

Major Crime officers and local detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
