The identity of a passenger who died in a high-speed car rollover on a major Victorian highway remains a mystery.
Three people were in the silver 2009 Jeep Wrangler when it left the road on South Gippsland Hwy and rolled just near Baxter-Tooradin Rd, Tooradin, southeast of Melbourne, just after 8.30pm on Saturday.
The 38-year-old male driver and a 34-year-old male passenger were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

However, the identity of the other passenger remains a mystery.
Police said he has dark skin, a shaved head, a distinctive tattoo of an eagle on his left arm and was wearing a red, yellow and black beaded wristband at the time of the crash.
The Jeep left the road and flipped, ploughing through a guard railing and landing in a ditch nearly 100m away behind dense bush.
“Not only could this have been three people who died, if there was another car or another family or anybody else on the road we could have a massive catastrophe,” Detective Sergeant Daryll Out told 7NEWS.
“This crash is a total loss of control at high speed.”
Police are also investigating alcohol as a factor in the crash and while blood analysis is still being finalised, early samples gave a clear indication.
“It’s a high reading,” Out said.
Officers are yet to interview the driver, as he was set to undergo surgery on Sunday.
The other passenger left hospital of his own accord on Sunday and was not discharged.
Police are still figuring out the relationship between the three men.
