Race 1: Silver Grecian Handicap

No. 12 Easy Two is closing in on a first win. He’s currently racing in superb form having finished inside the top three in his two most recent starts. He slots in light, draws well and can easily win this week. No. 6 Jazz Club has been consistent of late. Any further improvement can see him go close, especially from a suitable draw. No. 8 Multimore gets the services of Zac Purton. He gets his chance and is expected to roll forward early and press for the lead. No. 7 Noble One is next in line. He is capable in this grade.

Race 2: Super Oasis Handicap

No. 4 Harry’s Hero can bounce back. He was running well prior to his last-start failure and does appear very, very close to a first win. The apprentice takes a handy seven pounds off his back. No. 7 Go Go Go is doing everything right except win. He’s placed in each of his last four starts and he should be able to make his presence felt once more, especially with Zac Purton up. No. 9 Keen Unity has been making steady inroads of late. He’s a shot. No. 11 Casa Legend is seeking back-to-back wins. He’s in Class 5 again, which suits.

Race 3: Turin Redsun Handicap

No. 10 Divine Shining caught the eye late last start. Caspar Fownes has the horse going well and Vincent Ho’s booking indicates intent. He’s ready to win now and gets his shot here, albeit from the wide draw. No. 12 Matsu Victor did his best work late last start. He gets in light here and should be a factor with Zac Purton going up. No. 3 Durham Star returns following a setback. His best form at Happy Valley can see him test this group, that is, if he can recapture it. No. 7 Winning Steps has been solid all campaign. He gets another opportunity here.

Race 4: Let Me Fight Handicap (2nd Section)

No. 11 Golden Champion turned in a superb effort last start to finish second. He can build on that performance and further improvement should see him take a bit of beating, especially under the light weight. No. 12 Lucky Planet has been knocking on the door all season and he’s favored under the featherweight. The inside draw should afford him the right run. No. 8 Valhalla can bounce back. He’s better than his most recent outing suggests. No. 4 Harold Win has hit the ground running and he can be competitive once again.

Race 5: Fast Most Furious Handicap (1st Section)

No. 9 Giant Leap turned his form around last start. He can improve again following that effort and he’s favored from the inside draw. One to beat. No. 10 Jolly Companion is without a win, although he does continue to make strong headway. He gets an opportunity here. No. 11 Great Achiever is ideally drawn and he appears better than his record suggests. He’s worth including, especially with Alexis Badel up. No. 6 Vantastic Choice can press forward and lead this group. He can be tough to get past at times.

Race 6: Sun Jewellery Handicap

No. 3 Outgate is in career-best form and he’s aiming for consecutive wins. He goes about his racing well and Angus Chung has a super record aboard the grey. He’s a winner in the grade and another wouldn’t surprise here. No. 1 Helene Feeling has the class. He narrowly missed last start and should be able to challenge this group. No. 10 Universal Horizon slots in light and he’s done well this season. He can make his presence felt. No. 2 Tomodachi Kokoroe can press forward and take his opportunity from there. Distance remains a query.

Race 7: Star Shine Handicap (3rd Section)

No. 4 Lean Master is a tough on-pacer and he rates strongly here. He’s hard to get past at times and Harry Bentley has already won twice aboard the galloper. He’ll take reeling in. No. 8 Gimme Five returned to form last start by finishing second. Expecting him to take another forward step this week, especially with Karis Teetan up. No. 9 Happy Horse is racing well and has quickly evolved into a two-time winner. He can continue his ascent. No. 3 Prince Of Porty is steadily clawing back his best. He’s not without a shot.

Race 8: Lucky Patch Handicap

No. 3 Youthful Spirits was superb last start for victory. He’ll continue to climb up the handicap and the inside draw here is incredibly favorable. Zac Purton stays aboard and he’s the one to catch for an in-form Mark Newnham. No. 8 Ka Ying Cheer is racing well, although he is struggling to get his nose in front. He’s finished second in three out of his four most recent outings. No. 6 Happy United was second last start. Vincent Ho is aboard again and he gets his chance. No. 7 Red Elegance rises in grade. He can be a factor.

Race 9: Sweet Orange Handicap

No. 6 Perfect Team trades the dirt for turf. He’s been racing well of late and is capable of transferring that form from Sha Tin to Happy Valley. Vincent Ho hops up and he’s favored in gate one. No. 3 Supreme Agility is progressing. Zac Purton’s up and further improvement should see him go close. No. 1 Awesome Fluke is after a hat-trick of wins. He’s got a suitable draw and is a major threat, even under the hefty impost. No. 12 G Liner slots in light and is a worthy inclusion.
