Former child actor Benji Gregory, best known for his role on the 1980s TV sitcom Alf, has been found dead aged 46.
Gregory was found dead in his car at a Chase Bank parking lot in Peoria in the US state of Arizona, alongside his service dog Hans, on June 13.
Gregory rose to fame at just eight years old, playing Brian Tanner on the sitcom, which ran from 1986 to 1990.

ALF followed the Tanner family doing their best to hide an alien, who crash crash lands on their garage.
TMZ broke the news with Gregory’s sister Rebecca telling the outlet her brother had suffered from a number of mental health disorders, such as depression and bipolar disorder that often kept him awake for days.
Friends of the actor said he likely went to the bank to deposit residual cheques, and suggested he fell asleep in the car and died from heatstroke amid Arizona’s brutal heatwave.
The official cause of death is yet to be determined by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Gregory was born in Los Angeles in 1978 to a family of actors.
He left the industry in 2003 and enlisted in the US Navy. He received an honourable discharge in 2006.
He married wife Sarah in 2006, however, their current marital status remains unknown.
