The Eagles will settle on their final 23 players on Friday for their first game under interim coach Jarrad Schofield
The West Coast Eagles could make up to five changes to the team for the match against Brisbane at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
The Eagles have added a handful of fresh names to the line-up as they prepare to go into battle minus coach Adam Simpson after he and the club mutually agreed to a parting of ways on Tuesday.
All-Australian defender Jeremy McGovern has been ruled out with a punctured lung and young wingman Campbell Chesser has been omitted – the only confirmed changes at this stage.
The final composition of the 23-man team will be completed tomorrow afternoon.
Tall defender Harry Edwards has been selected at centre half-back while midfielders Zane Trew, Jai Culley and Luke Edwards have been named on an extended bench alongside utility player Ryan Maric.
Also listed on the eight-man bench are Tyler Brockman, veteran forward Jack Darling and swingman Jamaine Jones. They all played in last week’s 54-point loss to Melbourne at the MCG.
