Must read

One of the most eagerly anticipated golf entertainment projects will hit full swing on Saturday, July 13 when Swing Factory Terrey Hills* opens its doors, bringing Sydney a new modern golf experience.

Based on the doorstep of Sydney’s famed Northern Beaches, Swing Factory Terrey Hills is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art precinct combining industry-leading golf technologies, world-class entertainment and hospitality that promises to deliver unforgettable experiences for people of all ages.

Think bright lights, music, mouth-watering food and drinks – oh, and A LOT of fun golf thrown in!

“Off-course golf is growing at more than 20 percent per annum, both here in Australia and the US, and we want to raise the level,” says Erich Weber, co-founder of Swing Factory.

“Terrey Hills is Swing Factory’s second venue, with plans for more in the pipeline. Our mission is simple: make golf more fun for players old and new.”

At Swing Factory Terrey Hills, you can enjoy the full swing experience with your driver and irons, whatever level of golfer you are, aided by the addictive and revolutionary Toptracer Range technology. Play courses from around the world, trace your shots, track your progress and beat your friends.

What distinguishes Swing Factory from the traditional driving range is each bay is booked in timeslots, up to 7 days out, so there is no waiting for a bay or queuing for balls. You can hit unlimited balls in your reserved timeslot and enjoy a tasty selection of food and beverages with your friends.

“We have invested in technology to enhance the bay experience: Toptracer ball tracking, auto-ball dispensing technology, so there are no buckets, and every bay has space for multiple players,” adds Weber.

“On the top level we have 14 lounge bays with couches, for up to 4 players. Food and drinks can be ordered by QR code and delivered to any of the 58 bays.”

Beyond the bays, the chic “Club House” offers cool drinks and mouth-watering meals. There’s even a little nod to the previous venue’s popular Chinese restaurant, offering signature dishes like ‘Kenny’s special fried rice’, dim sims and bao buns. Downstairs, Swing Factory Terrey Hills boasts an alfresco entertainment area, event rooms and a chance to tune your putting on the world-class, 27-hole mini-golf course.

Overlooking the beautiful Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, with free on-site parking, Swing Factory Terrey Hills will open from early morning to late evening, 7 days a week.
