Carrie Bickmore has surprised her fans with an exciting social media post.

The radio star, 43, took to Instagram on Friday to share the results of a homemade bread recipe, which had been provided by her former Project co-star Kate Langbroek.

Carrie revealed her homemade bun’s crusty outer shell in one picture, followed by another image which showed slices of the baked good slathered with Vegemite.

‘1st time baking bread. Loaf demolished by the kids in one sitting. Easiest recipe ever,’ she wrote in the caption, before thanking Langbroek.

‘Literally no kneading! Look up Jim Lahey’s Easy No-Knead Artisan Bread,’ she added helpfully.

Fans were delighted in the comments to the post, with one saying ‘I, too, can wow my fam!!’ once she follows the recipe.

‘I’m obsessed with learning how to make bread now! Love this. Well done,’ added another.

But Carrie’s bread isn’t the only success the radio star has had lately.

On Monday, Bickmore and her co-host Tommy Little revealed their drive show, Carrie and Tommy, has dominated the national ratings survey once again

The radio duo took out Australia’s #1 Drive Show in Melbourne and Brisbane during survey four, making it their third consecutive win.

It’s the best result the Hit Network has received for the Drive slot since 2018, and the best result in Drive for Brisbane B105 since 2010.

‘We are stunned and stoked by this result – thank you, Australia, for making us #1 and tuning in every day for our crazy antics, laughs, and fun,’ the co-hosts said.

‘This unreal result is a testament to our phenomenally hard-working team, and our wider team across the Hit Network.

‘We can’t wait for you to see the exciting things we’ve got planned for the rest of 2024.’

Carrie and Tommy currently boasts an 11.1 per cent share of the market across Australia, with an 11.7 per cent share in Melbourne and 17 per cent share in Brisbane.
