The AFL has today announced the AFLW Practice and Match Simulation fixtures
The AFL has today announced the AFLW Practice and Match Simulation fixtures, with the Cats set to play two warm-up games in Victoria in preparation for their 2024 season.
The Cats will host Collingwood at 2.30pm on the 10th of August at GMHBA Stadium in a match simulation, before heading up the highway to take on Essendon.
The official practice match will see Geelong head to Windy Hill for a clash with Bombers on the 17th of August at 1.00pm, in what will be a rematch of the 2023 Elimination Final.
Entry is FREE for the game against the Bombers, with with the match to also be live-streamed via the Club’s website.
Geelong will open off their AFLW season on the 31st of August, hosting Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium in the opening round of 2024.
