Proton Pass Adds Secure Links

Paying customers of Proton Pass can now securely share passwords with anyone using a new Secure Links feature.

“At Proton Pass, our goal is to equip users with all the necessary tools for robust security,” Proton Pass product lead Son Nguyen says. “With Secure Links, sharing passwords becomes as easy as sending a link, without sacrificing security. Combined with vault sharing, Proton Pass not only enhances user security but also streamlines the user experience, thereby boosting productivity.”

Proton Pass Secure Links requires a paid Proton Pass account, but the sharing works across any device and with those not using Proton Pass. Secure Links are unique, and they can be configured in various ways to control access. For example, you can determine how many times a link can be viewed before it stops working. Or they can be set to auto-expire in periods ranging from one hour to 30 days. If you change a password shared via a Secure Link, the link will automatically update as well.

Secure Links is coming to Proton Pass on all platforms: Windows, Mac, web, Android, iPhone, and iPad.
