When Today tech expert, Trevor Long, dared to take Effie Zahos’ reserved parking space at the Today studios last week – she was not impressed.
“I was mortified when I arrived this morning, Trevor, I would like you to move that thing you call a car out of my parking space,” the Your Money expert politely warned him.
But Trev dared to play with fire and posted video to social media of him returning to Effie’s parking space the next day with his name now on it and throwing shade about his electric vehicle “financially, a very smart decision”.

Today hosts Karl and Sarah warned Trevor he was playing with fire, but he didn’t listen, so while he was overseas this week, Effie decided to exact her revenge.
“This may look like I’m in Trevor’s tech man cave, but I’ve decided to make this my finance cave,” Effie said from Trevor’s home in Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
“We’ve had a few bad words between each other, but Trevor is a good mate of mine, so I do want to watch his back here.”
Effie even had time to do some redecorating in the man cave, putting up photos of herself and leaving a couple of copies of her financial advice book, A Real Girl’s Guide to Money.
But Effie didn’t just appear on the show to rip into Trevor and pointed out with his seemingly never-ending trips overseas for technology press junkets, he might want to make sure his home and contents insurance is up to scratch.

‘If you’re away from your home for months on end, you actually aren’t insured in some cases, or you could actually have an excess that you’ve got to pay because it’s unoccupied,” Effie warned as she “accidentally” knocked a monitor off Trev’s coffee table.
“My tip is, instead of buying all these tech gadgets, how about you invest in some tech stocks and then maybe you won’t have to go on these Contiki tech trips you’re always on Trev.”
