Move over, high teas with cucumber sandwiches.
The dude brunch with beers and burgers is the new way to spend Sundays in Perth this month.
RoyAl’s Chicken and Burgers have partnered with Perth’s award-winning brewery Bright Tank Brewing Co. to bring a new twist to a traditional high tea.
The limited-time Dude Brunch series offers a tiered tower of RoyAl’s food and a trio of beers and will take place across three locations every Sunday, intentionally timed to line up with the local AFL games.
The range of fried foods to share includes chicken RoyAl Sliders, RoyAl with cheese sliders, potato bravas boats, mac n cheese croquettes, and fried chicken waffle sandwiches with bacon and maple syrup.
Customers can knock it back with three schooners each from the Bright Tank taps, including Chalk Face Killah Hazy IPA and East Perth Lager.
“Guys just want to have fun, too,” said RoyAl’s Ken Craigie. “We want to create an opportunity for men to come together in a relaxed environment with good food and drinks, and with any luck, this may attract some of the high tea ladies of Perth to try something new.”
The deal is $50 per person from 10.30am to 12.30pm and is available for groups of four or more.
On July 21, the Dude Brunch will take place at RoyAl’s in Wembley, lined up for Freo’s home game.
It will be held on July 28 at RoyAl’s in Northbridge and finish on August 4 at Al Pastor Taqueria and Tequila Bar for Freo’s home game.
