A police incident has unfolded at a busy shopping centre in Melbourne’s southeast after teens started “causing trouble”.
The teenagers were inside the Frankston Bayside Shopping Centre at 10.50am on Tuesday.
It is unknown how many youths were involved, but one allegedly had an edged weapon.

When police arrived, they located the weapon in a nearby bin.
Some shoppers said on social media said they hid inside stores as the incident unfolded.
Nobody was injured and the investigation is ongoing.
There were some reports saying the centre went into lockdown, but police confirmed that did not happen.
