This is great news for the company, as it shows more people in India are now ready to spend money on foldable phones.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 have received 40% higher pre-orders in India than their predecessors. Samsung revealed these figures through its official newsroom post. The new foldable phones are now the company’s most successful Galaxy Z series devices to be ever launched in India.
Pre-orders for these devices started in India on July 10, 2024, the same day when Samsung announced them globally. According to Samsung, all Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 units sold in India are manufactured in the company’s factory in Noida, India.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at INR 109,999 (~$1,320) for the 256GB version and INR 129,999 (~$1,460) for the 512GB version. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is priced at INR 164,999 (~$1,980) for the 256GB version, INR 1,76,999 (~$2,120) for the 512GB version, and INR 200,999 (~$2,410) for the 1TB version.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has an upgraded (50MP) primary camera, brighter screens (1,600 nits cover screen and 2,600 nits main screen), a faster processor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy), more RAM (12GB), and a bigger battery (4,000mAh).

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has brighter screens (2,600 nits cover and main displays), a newer and faster processor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy), and a new ultrawide 12MP camera sensor.
Both phones have more robust frames made of improved Armor Aluminum, sleeker and thinner designs, and new Galaxy AI features. They both run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 software out of the box and will get seven major Android OS updates.
