A man has been charged over the alleged hit-and-run death of a Queensland mum at the weekend.
Tash Raven, 43, died when she was allegedly hit by a car early Sunday morning as she was walking home.
On Monday, Queensland Police confirmed they have charged a 41-year-old Urangan man over the incident, after he handed himself into a station.

Police said he was travelling in a silver Ford Falcon along Boundary Rd when he hit Raven and is alleged to have left the scene of the crash.
Emergency services were called, but Raven died at the scene.
The man is in police custody and will appear before Hervey Bay Magistrates Court today.
The man has been charged with one count each of manslaughter, dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving of a motor vehicle without a licence, as well as driver fail to exhibit proper respect to deceased showing callous disregard for the needs of a person injured.
Tributes have been emerging for Raven, including a heartfelt message on a GoFundMe page, aimed at helping her 15-year-old son Axl. The fundraiser has already raised almost $5000.
“I’m asking if anyone can help big or small to go towards giving Tash a proper send off and making sure we can support Axl moving forward and help set him up,” Joshua Raven wrote on the page.
“I’m a little lost for words at the moment, and just hoping we can get the community around Axl and make sure we can support him as much as possible.”
In comments reported by The Courier Mail on Monday, Raven’s former colleague, Sara Ashdown, shared a sweet tribute.
“Just posting to express my sadness at learning a beautiful soul has passed on,” she wrote.
“I’m so glad I got to hug you on Thursday, but my heart breaks as we won’t be out in our ocean together as we planned this weekend.
“You were my rock at work, and I’ll never forget how much you believed in me and supported me.”
