Sha Tin horse racing tips

Race 1. (21:15) Chun Shek Handicap (1650m)

#4 – Adefill

Adefill loves running at Sha Tin after posting five wins and six placings from 14 starts.

The five-year-old son of Deep Field comes off a third placing behind M Unicorn, which is a tidy form guide.

The small field adds to his chances, and Karis Teetan riding at 54kg helps.

Race 2. (21:45) Mei Lam Handicap (1000m)

#8 – Super Joy

Super Joy took 18 runs to break maiden grades, and he could kick on with it now.

The five-year-old son of Starcraft owns a win and four placings from eight starts at Sha Tin, which adds to his appeal.

It’s not an easy field, so he could take advantage and go back-to-back.

Race 3. (22:15) Hin Yiu Handicap (1200m)

#1 – Must Go

Must Go must go into selections following a win three starts back, and he hasn’t been too far away from the prize.

The three-year-old son of All Too Hard didn’t fire last time out, but he’s good enough to bounce back from defeat.

Punters should get each-way odds on race day.

Race 4. (22:45) Shui Chuen O Handicap (1650m)

#5 – Medic Elite

Medic Elite has plenty of experience with 44 starts, and although he has only three wins, we’re sticking with him.

The five-year-old son of Zacinto hasn’t been too far away lately, including a fourth at Sha Tin last time out.

We’re expecting double-figure odds on race night.

Race 5. (23:15) Hin Yiu Handicap (1200m)

#7 – Everyone’s Victory

Everyone’s Victory turned his form around with consecutive third placings, so he’s good enough to beat this field.

The six-year-old son of Deep Field does his best racing at Sha Tin with three wins and eight placings, so that bodes well.

He just needs luck from the wide barrier.

Race 6. (23:45) Lee On Handicap (1800m)

#2 – Viva Hunter

Viva Hunter is getting back to his best form after consecutive placings.

The six-year-old has yet to win from 10 starts at Sha Tin, but he was only a nose behind the winner last time out.

Getting 1kg off his back adds to his appeal.

Race 7. (00:15) Chung On Handicap (1200m)

#3 – Victory Moments

Victory Moments gets Zac Purton riding, and that could be enough to see him return to winning form.

The four-year-old son of Spieth does his best racing at Sha Tin with five starts for a win and three placings.

It’s a tough field, but he has plenty of upside.

Race 8. (00:50) Fung Wo Handicap (1650m)

#2 – Woodfire Bro

Woodfire Bro is getting close to posting a win after finishing a nose behind the winner fresh up.

The five-year-old son of Echoes in Heaven owns a win and a placing from two starts at the track, so he loves running here.

Punters should get each-way odds on race night.
