Spring all-area series: 2024 Augusta Chronicle all-area high school golf teams

Must read

It’s time to tee it up for the second installment of our Spring All-Area series.

The Lakeside boys golf team finished atop the Georgia High School Association Class 6A mountain with a state championship. The Greenbrier girls, Aquinas boys and North Augusta boys all finished as runners-up in their respective classifications. That makes three team state titles for the Augusta-area in two seasons.

While seniors tend to contribute at the highest level, the talent in the Augusta-area golf scene is dominated by members of all classes. Many freshmen and sophomores finished near the top of the leaderboards in the state tournaments, meaning more hardware will be coming back here soon.

Here are the top Augusta-area high school golfers for the 2024 season.
