Must read

Tips and best bets for midweek racing at Sale, Canterbury, Doomben and Strathalbyn on Wednesday, May 29.

*Canterbury tips provided by The Daily Telegraph’s Adam Sherry

BEST BETSCanterbury R4 No. 3 – Allapercanto @ $3Allapercanto (3) went back to last and ran on nicely to finish just over a length behind Magnatear when fourth on the Kensington over 1550m two starts back. Again came from a long way back when she ran home over the top to beat Good Once at Hawkesbury. Shouldn’t be too far back in the small field and can go back-to-back.

Tyler Schiller (58kg)
M, W & J Hawkes
3yoF (b) Per Incanto x Allawara

Sale R6 No. 2 – All So Clear @ $2.30After running 2nd in his last two starts in this grade, All So Clear looks well-placed to strike fourth-up from the ideal gate. The Hayes-trained gelding should lob in a perfect spot just off the speed and Stackhouse jumping back aboard is certainly no negative (6:2-2-0 on him). The Matriarch Rose form reads incredibly well for a midweek BM64.

Daniel Stackhouse (60.5kg)
Ben, Will & Jd Hayes
5yoG (b) So You Think x Dorabella

Doomben R5 No. 2 – Kenyada @ $5Some promising middle-distance ones here. KENYADA (2) enjoyed the drop back from black-type fillies company to bolt in at Ipswich last start and won’t find this much harder. She rises 1.5kg and while she may be just short of Oaks quality is a filly on the up. With Jim Orman and a good gate she will test these.

James Orman (60.5kg)
Chris Waller
3yoF (bay/brown) Kermadec x Yukon Dance
