Bulldogs winger Josh Addo-Carr is set to miss 8-10 weeks after suffering a high grade hamstring tear in the win over the Knights on Friday.
Bulldogs supremo Phil Gould revealed the unfortunate news on social media, with Addo-Carr the latest victim of the NRL’s hamstring crisis in 2024.
Addo-Carr – having starred after his axing from the NSW Origin squad – pulled up with the injury early in the second half.
He immediately limped up the tunnel and was ruled out of the game.

Meanwhile, the Knights alos suffered a concerning injury blow with Daniel Saifiti forced from the field in the first half.
Saifiti came up hobbling after making a tackle and battled on for another couple of minutes, only to limp from the field – indicating towards his left knee to a trainer.
Saifiti was making his return from a one-game ban due to a high tackle, but now adds to Newcastle’s injury woes that already includes Kalyn Ponga, Bradman Best and Tyson Gamble.
