USA walk into the tournament on the back of an impressive 2-1 T20I series win against Bangladesh. The hosts had also routed Canada 4-0 in a series in Houston back in April. The likes of Corey Anderson and Ali Khan, who aren’t new to performing at the big stage, make the hosts favorite to start on a winning note. Canada though, registered a clinical win against Nepal in what was the first warm-up match ahead of the tournament.
