- C.T. Pan’s caddie, Mike ‘Fluff’ Cowan, injured himself on Sunday afternoon
- So the PGA Tour veteran had to recruit a random fan from the crowd
A random golf fan was given a moment to remember on Sunday as C.T. Pan picked him to be his caddie.
Pan’s bags are normally carried by Mike ‘Fluff’ Cowan, but the veteran caddie slipped walking down a hill on the third hole and injured himself during the Canadian Open.
Thus, Pan went into the crowd to recruit an unidentified fan to help him finish out the tournament, which concludes on Sunday.
In a video from the PGA’s official X account, the fan can be seen walking onto the green and putting on a bib.
He was wearing a pink Masters T-shirt underneath.
The fan then shook hands with Pan before settling into his new role.
At the time of writing, Pan is tied for 36th after finishing his fourth round, with a three-under-park mark overall.
Robert MacIntyre has only just started the last round but leads the field with a -13.
Pan, 32, has three pro wins, with his last being the RBC Heritage in 2019.
Cowan, meanwhile, has previously caddied for the likes of Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk.
