Adelaide midfielder Matt Crouch will miss the remainder of the season with an AC joint shoulder injury suffered in the club’s loss to Hawthorn.
Crouch was seen in a sling after arriving back in Adelaide, with the club confirming the damage and season ending surgery on Monday morning.
It’s a disappointing blow for the 29-year-old, who worked his way back into the Crows’ best 22 at the end of 2023.
Crouch had played 11 games, averaging 30.4 disposals and 6.5 clearances per game in 2024.
Taylor Walker is also expected to miss Thursday night’s clash with Richmond as he deals with a back issue.
