Ryan Grafton, 30, died when another car crashed into the ridesharing vehicle he was travelling in about 2.15am last Tuesday.
It’s alleged a man in a stolen car sped through a red light and ploughed into the Uber on Boundary Road at Wacol in Brisbane’s south-west.
His friend Amelia Vinden, 26, and Uber driver Hussein Ali Mohamed, 46, were both injured in the crash.
Police released a photo of a man they wanted to speak with overnight, leading the 28-year-old to present himself without incident to Acacia Ridge police.
CCTV was also released, showing a figure running down the street, allegedly fleeing the scene of the fatal crash.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
