Dragons: On the back of a big win over the premiers, coach Shane Flanagan has named the same 17-man squad with Origin stars Ben Hunt, Jaydn Su’A and Zac Lomax listed among the reserves pending how they come through Wednesday’s series opener.
Wests Tigers: Justin Olam returns from suspension in the centres and will partner Charlie Staines, who moves in one from the wing. Alex Lobb coming in for his second game of the season on the wing. David Klemmer’s suspension sees Alex Twal move to prop while the loss of Isaiah Papali’i to an ankle injury brings Alex Seyfarth into the starting side along with Justin Matamua. Centre Brent Naden has been named on the bench in his return from suspension. Cook Islands representative Reuben Porter makes his NRL debut off the bench.

Titans: A big boost for the Titans with fullback Jayden Campbell listed among the reserves as he looks to return from the knee injury that has sidelined him since Round 6. Experienced playmaker Kieran Foran is back from a hamstring injury at five-eighth while Phil Sami (hamstring) and Jojo Fifita (pectoral) also return to the backline. Maroons Origin rep Moeaki Fotuaika has been named to start at prop as he looks to back up from Game One. Beau Fermor slides back to his edge forward role after filling in at centre against the Broncos before the bye. Keenan Palasia reverts to the bench and Joe Stimson drops to 18th man.
Rabbitohs: Cody Walker returns from a calf injury in a boost for the Rabbitohs. He will partner Jack Wighton in the halves with Dion Teaupa moving to 18th man. Richie Kennar (knee) returns at centre with Michael Chee Kam moving to the back row.

Broncos: Coach Kevin Walters has named Maroons trio Pat Carrigan, Selwyn Cobbo and Reece Walsh and Blues prop Payne Haas to back up from Origin One with the likes of Tristan Sailor, Fletcher Baker and Martin Taupau among the reserves if required. The return of centre Kotoni Staggs from a rib injury sees Josiah Karapani drop to the reserves.
Sharks: Blues halfback Nicho Hynes will be rested this weekend with Daniel Atkinson and Braydon Trindall again teaming up in the halves. The club’s other Origin rep Cam McInnes has been named to back up three days after his Blues debut so Jack Williams reverts to the bench. Teig Wilton is out with a shoulder problem, his place taken by Siosifa Talakai. The new face on the bench is Tuku Hau Tapuha, who has been recalled to the side after playing NSW Cup last week.

Storm: Harry Grant and Xavier Coates are named to back up at this stage, with Craig Bellamy naming a similar line-up to that which last played back in Round 13. There is a forced change on the wing due Will Warbrick’s groin injury, so Grant Anderson moves there from the bench and Bronson Garlick comes in on the interchange to offer cover at hooker.
Knights: Adam O’Brien has opted not to make any changes on the back of a bleak 32-2 defeat to the Bulldogs in Round 13, with the same 17 named to take on the Storm. Prop Daniel Saifiti has been named despite suffering a knee injury against the Bulldogs. As has become normal in recent weeks, Tyson Frizell will come off the bench with Dylan Lucas and Kai Pearce-Paul the preferred starters.

Panthers: Following his withdrawal from Origin One due to a quad injury, Dylan Edwards is listed among the reserves with Daine Laurie the starting fullback for now. The rest of the Origin contingent are named to play. Brad Schneider has lost his place in the side, with Jack Cole set to partner Jarome Luai in the halves this week. Luke Garner returns from a leg injury on the bench and prop Moses Leota has been named despite suffering a hamstring injury against the Dragons.
Sea Eagles: At this stage all three of their Origin reps are set to back up, while Lehi Hopoate looks to have won the battle to be the fill-in fullback ahead of Tolutau Koula, who is instead named at centre with Tommy Talau moving to the wing and Raymond Tuaimalo Vaega dropping out. New signing Jake Simpkin is included in the wider reserves and could yet join the game day 17 as a hooking option.

Bulldogs: A five-day turnaround from Origin One will mean captain Stephen Crichton is a very good chance of backing up, while five-eighth Matt Burton should be fine as well given he’s 18th man for the Blues. Toby Sexton is the preferred halfback this week, with Drew Hutchison left in the wider reserves. Lipoi Hopoi is set for another run off the bench following his debut in Round 13.
Eels: Blaize Talagi is the man to replace Bailey Simonsson (knee) in the backline, with the rookie named at centre and Sean Russell moving one position out to the wing. As is the case for the Bulldogs, the long turnaround after the Origin series opener will mean J’maine Hopgood is well placed to back up for the Eels and he’s named to start at this stage. Ryan Matterson has been included in the wider reserves as he works his way back from illness.
