Brad Fittler believes Api Koroisau will be looking to go big tonight against the Dragons, as he looks to force his way back into the Blues’ Origin side.
Koroisau was overlooked for the hooker role in favour of Cowboy Reece Robson.
Koroisau has two matches – against the Dragons and then the Titans next week – to impress before teams are picked for game two.
“The good thing about tonight is he’s leading a really young, inexperienced team,” Fittler said on 9News.
“If he can put a great performance in tonight, (the Tigers) are in a not too different a situation than the Blues are in — pretty young, a lot of inexperience in the team.
“I spoke to him early on, he’s ready to go.”
Kickoff is under a half-hour away.
