We know we’ll get more details on the upcoming Batman: Arkham Shadow, a new VR game set in the Arkham universe. Fair to say this one … uhhh … whelmed folks when it was announced, so we’ll see if an extended look changes those impressions.
We also know Atlus is here with a fresh look at its new RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio, which should have all the Persona fans (hi, it’s me) suitably excited.
2K has also promised to unviel the next installment in one of its “biggest and most beloved franchises”. That could be new Borderlands, Civilization or even Bioshock.
Then there’s the rumours. Top of the list seems to be some new DLC for Sony’s Spider-Man 2. There’s also whispers Microsoft could pull the wraps off the next major installment in its dormant Gears of War franchise.
And if you want some proper tinfoil, a guy in an alleyway told me that Microsoft could be announcing a new handheld device like the SteamDeck. You didn’t hear it from me.
Oh, and is it a major videogame showcase without the obligatory “This time we finally see Silksong”?
