With the help of his daughter Charlotte, Huey is posting regular clips online for fans, new and old.

“It’s pretty funny. I feel like half of it to begin with was people being shocked that he was still alive,” Charlotte said, laughing with her dad.

“I think Dad’s a really simple cook. And as someone who maybe isn’t a great cook myself, I do gravitate to like simple food,” she said.

“So I thought it would be really good to have… people able to access simple cooking on TikTok and YouTube. I thought it would do well.”

Huey has struggled to comprehend his second coming, but has welcomed it with open arms.

“I am absolutely boggled. I’m this old fat guy with grey hair!” he laughed.

“We’ve just started this little exercise, which we thought wasn’t going to work. And all of a sudden, we are inundated with views,” he said.

The chef also has a YouTube series, where he posts simple recipes every week.

As for what’s next, Huey confirmed to A Current Affair he has a memoir releasing later this year titled Who Called The Cook A Bastard?.
