The truck driver was physically unharmed but taken to Toowoomba Hospital as a precaution.

The truck rolled as a result of the collision and fell onto powerlines.

“Some” cattle were loose in the aftermath of the crash in “quite a chaotic scene”, Senior Sergeant Matt Stevens told 7NEWS.

It’s unknown if any cattle were killed in the crash.

Stevens has called for any witnesses to come forward as forensic crash experts investigate.

He said the cause of the crash was not immediately clear and a “number of factors” will need to be considered.

It is the second serious crash near Toowoomba on Sunday after a 72-year-old man died in a rollover at Silverleigh.
