Must read

For most people, Apple’s annual developer conference might be little more than a mouthful of letters. But WWDC 2024 looks poised to bring a ton of news around AI (excuse me, Apple Intelligence), alongside the usual updates to platforms like iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and more. Last WWDC, we saw the company unveil the Vision Pro headset, which was then released earlier this year and turned a small group of early adopters into public annoyances. This year, in addition to AI-powered updates throughout the company’s ecosystem, we’re also hearing that Apple might be readying a brand new… Calculator app? We’ll get the details once the keynote kicks off at 10am PT / 1pm ET today, and I’ll be on the ground as early as 8am PT with my colleague Devindra Hardawar. We’ll bring you the news but also the most important insight, like how Apple’s snacks compare to the likes of Microsoft and Google’s events. Plus, what do you think the new macOS will be named after? Come back here on June 10th at about 11am ET to join us for the fun!

Catch up here for all the news out of Apple’s WWDC 2024.
