Victim shot after argument at west Charlotte shopping plaza: PD

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A suspect accused of shooting a man following a dispute at a west Charlotte shopping plaza is being sought, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said Wednesday.

Officers responded to calls regarding the incident around 9:33 p.m. Wednesday at a convenience store inside a shopping center by 3100 Wilkinson Blvd. in west Charlotte. A 28-year-old man was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to an area medical center with serious injuries.

An initial investigation stated that an unknown suspect assaulted the victim while he was in his vehicle and attempted to kill him following an argument that took place earlier in the day.

There is no mention of an arrest or a suspect at this time and this remains an active investigation.
