Football Australia is pleased to confirm that the 2025 National Futsal Championships will be held from Wednesday, 8 January to Tuesday, 12 January at Melbourne Sports Centres – Parkville.
Hosted by Football Victoria, the 2025 National Futsal Championships will welcome the best players from across Australia, competing in U12 – U16 Boys; Youth Men and Open Men; U13, U15 & U17 Girls; Youth Women and Open Women; and Open AWD (Athletes with Disabilities) Mixed.
Melbourne Sports Centres – Parkville is a premier sporting facility, providing eight pitches for the tournament, with seating for 3,050 spectators around the show pitch. Centrally located, the precinct will provide an elite match experience, whilst allowing participants to experience the best of Melbourne on their doorstep.
Football Australia Chief Executive Officer James Johnson said: “Football Australia would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to Football Victoria for hosting the 2025 National Futsal Championships.
“This will be a fantastic week of futsal as the best players from across the country go head-to-head in Melbourne all vying to be crowned national champions.
“The National Futsal Championships will be a great way to kick off 2025 and we look forward to seeing the futsal community converge on Victoria in January,” concluded Johnson.
Football Victoria Chief Executive Officer Chris Pehlivanis welcomed the return of the tournament to Victoria, following the highly successful 2023 edition.
“Futsal is experiencing rapid growth in Victoria and we are thrilled to be selected again as the host city for the tournament, which will be a highlight of our calendar.
“Australia’s leading futsal players, coaches, administrators and officials will provide a showcase of this fast-paced, highly skilled format of the game.
“While we will be cheering for our Victorian squads, we’re looking forward to welcoming all participants to Melbourne for an action-packed tournament,” expressed Pehlivanis.
