A celebrity makeup artist has tragically passed away from brain cancer after ignoring a common symptom.
Anca Molnar announced she was diagnosed with a brain tumour more than a year ago.
The 35-year-old beauty therapist is known for her work with celebrities in her native country, Romania.
Molnar revealed she had suffered from a series of headaches prior to her diagnosis, and according to her close friend Alina Radi, she had ignored them for quite some time.
When the pain became so severe and started affecting her daily life, she decided to go to the doctor.
After a year of intensive treatments, she sadly passed away on Tuesday.
Tragically, right before her death, she shared an emotional TikTok with her 600,000 followers.
“I came, lived beautifully and left for another world. I fought as best I knew how and with all my strength… Until the last drop of HOPE,” she wrote.
“I leave my gratitude in my heart for how beautiful my life was and my smile will remain a testimony that I lived it to the fullest.
“I, Anca Molnar, have left… Home. But from there, I will always continue to watch you! Stay well, and look for me among the stars. From time to time, I’ll wink at you!”
When she was first diagnosed, she was told there wasn’t much that could be done by doctors due to the progression of her brain tumour.
Without losing hope, Molnar flew to Turkey for oncological treatment, where she had brain surgery twice and had multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Her first brain surgery resulted in her tumour going into remission. Sadly, a short time later a second tumour was found, forcing her to have another surgery to remove it.
Molnar documented parts of her brave journey with her followers who showed their utmost support.
In her final weeks, she thanked her husband Claudiu in an emotional clip.
“I have the strongest and best man by my side, in good times and bad. Thank you my love,” she wrote.
On her last post, fans flooded the comments to send their condolences.
“Too much pain … Condolences to the family …. Have a safe ride Anca …. ❤️” one person wrote.
Another added: “😢 I have no words ❤️ ❤️ ❤️”
