4 First Maid (Bet Now: $5.00) is a slight query in a fast run 900m but if she’s within range, I am sure she has the finale to overhaul them. She resumed over 1050m in a Balaklava maiden where she was run off her legs and struggled to keep up but she ran through the pain barrier, picked up and launched late to win and win well. Better for the run, hopefully she can stay in touch and finish over the top.

2 Putanothercoinin (Bet Now: $3.80) is a son of Jukebox for Team Jolly that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since Boxing Day at Morphettville when just off the speed and kept chasing but couldn’t quite get the win when a narrow third to Vexatious Dancer. Jumped out well enough to my eye leading in and looks suited fresh at 900m.

12 Crown Moshe (Bet Now: $17.00) is a Hickmott/Riggs trained mare that is first up and is capable with her best. She resumes, with her last run coming on April 1 at Oakbank when down the track over 1100m behind Utah Joe. She is a mare who can sprint well on the fresh side and has trialled well in readiness.

1 Prince Jofra (Bet Now: $3.70) has to lump the weight but he does have the class factor. Travis Doudle trained gelding that was 2000m back to the mile when racing at Morphettville. He was held up at a crucial stage when wanting to build the revs so I am going to be a bit forgiving of his effort when third to Peacemaker. Better run here, clear air, he’ll be hard to beat.

4 Angry Skies (Bet Now: $2.60) has the Team Hayes polish and should be respected as one of the key prospects. He ran over 1400m at Sandown last time where he had a suck run in transit behind the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there behind General Firepower. 1600m should be okay and this isn’t a deep contest.

9 Peacemaker (Bet Now: $8.00) is absolutely flying for Chris Bieg and has to be respected. This guy has won three on the bounce, the latest coming two weeks ago at Morphettville over this trip where he got a rail hugging steer from Atkinson and in a driving finish, the gelding was too good. Hard to knock the way he’s racing and rates as one of the leading contenders.

3 Dyer (Bet Now: $2.45) is a son of Zousain for Michael Hickmott that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since a strong debut win on the Parks track at Morphettville on March 2 when leading throughout and credit to him, he was strong to the line late in winning. Trial work to get ready has been strong and stable is flying at present.

2 Colmar (Bet Now: $5.50) should appreciate getting back up to 1200m. He ran over 1100m two weeks ago and kept chasing from off the speed, finding the line well enough in defeat behind Royal Majesty to finish second. Proven at 1200m and hard fit now, with runs on the board, he commands respect.

Long Shot

4 Future Command (Bet Now: $91.00) should appreciate a rise to 1200m for Chris Bieg. He debuted three weeks back over 1000m here where he got back to near last in the run and did make up some headway but was never really a winning threat behind Snore Room. Like him up to 1200m, better for the run under the belt…doubt he wins, but a first four contender.

7 Ammo Amor (Bet Now: $11.00) is knocking on the door to win for Kristi Evans and he strikes a winnable race. He ran over this trip two weeks ago at Morphettville when getting a suck run in transit behind the speed before angling clear and tried his guts out but had to settle for a second to Silent Command. Gradually working up to a win I feel and I reckon it comes here.

4 Silent Command (Bet Now: $11.00) is a ripper for Ali Brook. Rising ten years of age but still maintains a healthy zest for racing, as seen at Morphettville a fortnight back when on speed throughout and he showed too much ticker for them late in the piece, winning quite strongly. No reason why he can’t repeat the dose.

11 Bellavardo (Bet Now: $41.00) is one I can entertain for wider exotics. He ran fourth behind Silent Command two weeks back at Morphettville. He had a suck run in transit from the gate and he tried hard but just lacked the change up speed to go with them late in the piece. Doubt he wins but can run top four.

5 Talkin Italian (Bet Now: $5.00) should love getting to 1200m for David Jolly. This guy ran behind Sportsbeat a fortnight back at Morphettville where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was quite good. If he can settle closer, he’ll be hard to hold out.

11 King Moya (Bet Now: $4.60) is on the seven day back up for Jon O’Connor after racing last Saturday on the Parks track where he got into a decent spot behind the speed, saved ground nearer the inside, and kept finding the line in a pretty good effort behind Master Montaro, finishing third. Back in depth, rates highly.

3 Rialtor (Bet Now: $31.00) should appreciate a rise to 1200m. He resumed over 1000m here three weeks back when four wide no cover the trip and that hard run just told late in the piece, finishing down the track behind Geminga. Better run in transit this time around, in well after the claim, rates highly.

8 Wally West (Bet Now: $8.50) doesn’t win out of turn but he does have talent, certainly enough talent to take this out. He ran over 1100m two weeks ago at Morphettville where he was back and wide throughout, but he kept finding the line and was quite good in defeat behind impressive winner Sportsbeat. Like him up to 1200m and with a drag into the race, he’ll take beating.

10 Hajra (Bet Now: $2.90) has been quite dynamic since joining Clarken/O’Shea and it is hard to get away from her. Gave them a start and an absolute beating first up at Murray Bridge before going to Morphettville where she did something similar and the win was quite impressive, beating the older horses. Heading in the right direction, confident she measures up.

9 So You Can (Bet Now: $61.00) is a knockout hope for Jeff Searle. This gelding ran over 1100m at Penola last time where he got into a decent spot just off the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when third to Miss Balvenie. Like him up to 1200m and his best is more than good enough.

7 Billie Bronx (Bet Now: $4.60) is a Peter Hardacre trained mare that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since March 16 on the Parks track when placing behind Bolt By over 1550m. Bomb fresh horse, likes Murray Bridge, maps perfect…hard to get away from her against this lot.

2 Metro Legend (Bet Now: $5.00) is a key threat. Bain/Taylor trained gelding that is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday on the Parks track where he attempted to lead throughout and he gave a strong kick but was nabbed late by Sweet Baby Boom, who was given a 12/10 ride. Hard fit now and up to 1400m, he rates highly.

Long Shot

3 Riverplate (Bet Now: $5.50) is a very interesting runner. Formerly with Busuttin/Young, he now finds himself with Michael Hickmott and we know this stable is one of the best in SA when it comes to improving a tried horse. He can be hit and miss at times but his trial work to get ready has been strong and 1400m fresh tells me there is intent.

13 Lingani (Bet Now: $4.40) has shown good talent since day one and off her first up win, she’ll take beating against these. The first up spank job came over 1050m at Balaklava where she was able to drive through via the inside gate, settled in the first few before getting clear air and she made a mess of them late. Hard to beat.

14 Star Sirius (Bet Now: $46.00) is a winning threat. She debuted over 1050m at Balaklava where she gave them a start and a beating, getting back to near last in the run before angling wider, against the pattern, and she let down with purpose late to win and win well. Harder here, but confident she can measure up.

5 Walk Like An Angel (Bet Now: $6.00) is three weeks between runs for Andrew Gluyas since racing at this track/distance when getting a suck run just behind the speed before angling clear and she was there to put the race to bed but she couldn’t quite get there when a narrow second to Let’s Get Down. Knocking on the door and has to be respected.

7 Klabel (Bet Now: $9.50) has to be given serious respect. He resumed on the Parks track a few weeks ago when four/five wide no cover throughout and despite that hard run, he kept fidning the line and the run was full of merit in defeat I thought behind stablemate Keep Reading, who had the more economical run and was much too good. Fitter, bigger track, hard to beat with hopefully a better run in transit.

3 Magic Max (Bet Now: $9.50) likely spots them a start but can launch at them late in the piece. He did that at Morphettville a fortnight and tried hard but had to settle for a second to Starlite Valley. Likely goes back but if he is within range, can get a drag into the race, he’ll launch at them late.

Long Shot

9 Chosen Blonde (Bet Now: $12.00) looks the likely leader and that racing style is suited to the Murray Bridge 1000m. She ran two weeks back at Morphettville when leading and giving a decent sight but just couldn’t quite see it through when fourth to Starlite Valley. Right racing style, in form, likes Murray Bridge…dangerous.

4 Ichibansan (Bet Now: $5.00) has taken forever to find positive form but now that he has, he can go on with it. He was ridden with more intent two weeks ago at Morphettville and he reacted, finding the line with purpose late and tried hard when second to Bellini Miss, who had a suck run in behind and bloused late. If he can build/improve off that, he’ll take beating.

5 Tippa (Bet Now: $5.00) has been up a little while for Shayne Cahill but is holding his form really well. Wide throughout two back and arguably should have won when second to the in form Peacemaker before going to Morphettville when on speed and tried his guts out but couldn’t quite finish the job. I think with a more conservative steer, he’ll be more effective.

Long Shot

1 Badonkidonk (Bet Now: $18.00) is capable with his best. He ran over 1800m two weeks back at Morphettville behind Bellini Miss where he got back to near last in the run and while he did make up ground, he was never really a winning threat. He does like Murray Bridge and if he can settle closer, he will be hard to hold out.
