New South Wales Police have arrested a woman after a man believed to be aged in his 60s was found dead inside a Sydney home.
Police discovered the man’s body on Saturday about 11am at a residence on Damon Avenue in the suburb of Epping, 18 kilometres north-west of Sydney’s CBD.
Officers were called to the property after welfare concerns were raised.
The man has not yet been formally identified, however, he and the woman are understood to have been known to each other.
Police arrested the woman, who is also believed to be aged in her 60s, at the scene.
She is currently assisting police after she was taken to Gladesville Police Station.
Police tape was seen blocking off the intersection between Damon Avenue, a no through road, and Dent Street with a number of police cars at the scene.
