Princess Catherine has made her first public appearance since her cancer diagnosis was revealed several months ago.
The 42-year-old attended the 2024 Trooping the Colour alongside her husband Prince William and their three children George, Charlotte and Louis.
She choose a black and white ensemble for the event, with a Jenny Packham midi-dress and Philip Treacy wide-brimmed hat.
The look was finished off with stunning pearl earrings and an Irish Guards Regimental Brooch, according to British Vogue.
The Princess was seen flashing a wide smile as she rode in the carriage with her children towards the Horse Guards Parade at Whitehall.
She later joined King Charles and Queen Camilla on the Balcony at Buckingham Palace to watch the RAF flypast, waving to the crowds who had turned out in force despite the rainy weather.
The event marked the first time the senior royal has been seen at an official event since she revealed her cancer diagnosis in March.
The Princess released a statement ahead of Saturday’s event announcing her attendance and provided an update on her treatment.
“I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well,” she wrote.
“My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.
“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.”
The statement was shared to social media alongside a stunning image of the Princess in jeans and a blazer leaning against a tree amid a leafy background.
