What are reserve days in cricket?

A reserve day, as the name suggests, is a day kept in reserve in case the match on the scheduled date is abandoned due to rain or any other reason.

Usually reserve days are allotted for the final game or the knockout games of any tournament.

Are there any reserve days for Super 8 games?

Unfortunately, there are no reserve days for any of the Super 8 games at the T20 Cricket World Cup. Reserve days have been allotted only for the direct knockout games, the semifinals and final.

In fact, the second semifinal won’t have any reserve days if needed, instead it has been allotted an extra time of 250 minutes in order to preserve the tournament schedule.
