Popular chip recalled from hundreds of stores in Aussie state

A barbecue flavoured corn chip sold in Victoria has been recalled over the presence of an undeclared allergen.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) issued a recall notice for Leslie’s Clover Chips Barbecue Corn Snacks 145g on Saturday.

The item has been available for sale at Asian grocery stores and the impacted product has a use by date of 4/9/2025.

According to FSANZ, the chips have been recalled due to the presence of gluten.

“Any consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” it said.

“Consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.”

Those who have bought the product have been advised to return it to its place of purchase for a full refund.
