Snapshots from Julian Lennon’s epic travels across the globe and life experiences have been catalogued in a stunning new coffee table book.

The avid photographer and singer-songwriter went about selecting 200 images from more than a decade’s worth of experiences around the globe to share with his fans.

Offering an exclusive sneak peek to DailyMail.com, the images vary from sweeping landscapes to candid portraits both in color, and black and white.

Lennon says that ‘main thread which connects the book [titled Life’s Fragile Moments and currently available to pre-order], is the fragility in the faces of the people and the delicate state of nature in the landscapes and cloudscapes.’

Touching on his style of photography, the artist who is based in Europe adds: ‘It’s tough to label one’s own style… I just try to approach every capture with authenticity and honesty.

Above, a photo from one of Lennon’s photo series called ‘Calanqués.’ He said: ‘I was invited on a yacht for a few days, to clear my head, as I had a lot on my mind, little did I realize, I was entering another world, the likes I’d never seen before¿.’

‘I always want the vibe to reflect what I saw in the moment so that others may experience it in a similar, organic way.’

While Lennon has been exhibiting and selling his photography for many years, this marks his first fine art photography book.

Publishing house teNeues deems it ‘an outstanding coffee table book that shows complex, diverse sides of his creative spirit’ and a ‘must-have for any collector.’

Along with imagery, the book features ‘moving’ text where Lennon offers a ‘personal insight into his inspiration.’

While the photographer says it’s ‘impossible’ to pick a favorite shot, he says he does have ‘a special place in my heart’ for several photos.

One of Lennon’s prized photos includes one titled ‘Hope,’ which he took in 2014 while on a charity-focused trip with his non-profit, The White Feather Foundation, to Ethiopia.

For the book cover, Lennon selected a candid photo of him photographing Princess Charlene of Monaco from behind as she looks at herself in a mirror.

The image, titled ‘Charlene Wittstock #14’ and taken in 2011, was one of many snapped by Lennon of the now-Princess, literally 10 minutes before her civil wedding.

After spending months compiling his photography book, Lennon is now looking ahead to a music release this summer, ‘as well as a photo exhibition in Europe, which will be announced very soon.’

He adds: ‘Following that, my main focus will be to complete my forthcoming memoir.’
