Patrick Dangerfield and Ollie Henry are set to be available for selection as the Cats prepare to take on Carlton this Friday night at the MCG.

Dangerfield’s is set to return for his first game since Round Seven, having overcome a hamstring injury.

Ollie Henry will also be available, with the forward missing the trip to Sydney after being subbed out of the game against Richmond with hamstring awareness.

Cameron Guthrie is two weeks away from a return as he continues to recover from an achilles issue, while Oli Wiltshire is making progress as he works his way back from a pelvis injury.

“Cameron is progressing well in his recovery, over the next two weeks he will begin to increase his footy loads and conditioning as he nears his return,” Johnson said.

After missing the clash against Sydney, Zach Tuohy (knee) and Toby Conway (hip) are both available for selection.

In further positive news, Mitch Edwards made a successful return from injury in the VFL clash against the Swans two weeks ago, collecting 10 disposals and 11 hit-outs in three quarters of action.

The Cats will battle the Blues on Friday night at the MCG, with the opening bounce at 7.40pm. The game will be broadcast live on channel Seven, streamed via Kayo or you can listen on K rock Football.
