St Kilda is on track to conclude this week’s bye with a near-clean bill of health in order to attack the second half of the 2024 season.
Defenders Jimmy Webster (calf), Liam Stocker (abdominal) and Isaac Keeler (knee) will all face tests to ascertain their availability for Round 16, with Paddy Dow (ankle) to also be assessed.
Brad Crouch will similarly be monitored for a knee flare-up, which saw him withdrawn from all levels of competition this weekend just gone.
“Overall, we enter the bye in good shape from an injury perspective,” EGM Football David Misson said.
“With the bye affording a week’s rest for all our players, we hope to enter the second half of the season refreshed mentally and physically to begin our run at Marvel Stadium on the right note.”
Jack Hayes and Dougal Howard have taken steps forward in their respective knee and hamstring rehabilitations, while Liam Henry has been cleared of any injury after leaving the field late in St Kilda’s match against Brisbane last Friday.
