Dive into Samsung’s best products with EOFY sales – techAU

Must read

If you’re in the market for a new television, fridge, washer, gadget, or you’ve somehow come into a sum of money you’d like to spend, look no further than Samsung’s end of financial year (EOFY) sales. Samsung have gone big, and widespread.

This is great news for all the consumers out there looking to upgrade their tech. Deals are available across the full range of Samsung products, including many of their new toys. Let’s take a look at what’s on offer.

Televisions

Last week, Samsung released new research outlining the relationship Australians have with their televisions. The research showed more Aussies are using TVs for more than just watching movies and shows. People are now using their TVs to unwind after work, whether it’s destressing with a yoga routine or listening to music on their big screens.

Consumers also care about what their screen looks like when it’s switched off – leading to many people choosing and loving the Frame TVs. If you fall into this category, you can pick up a Frame TV in 32″ or 65″, with up to $538 off with the EOFY sales.

The recent research also revealed 60% of Aussies admit to rearranging their furniture to avoid sunlight and glare whilst watching TV. If you fall into this category, then you’ll love the anti-glare OLED TVs. The new OLED S95D launched in March available in—55″, 65″, and 77″ screen sizes—are also on sale, saving up to $1,000 AUD during this sale period.

There’s also the giant 83″ S90D OLED 4K TV where you can save $2,000 AUD so don’t delay. I’ve tried out a few of the OLED screens in my house, and I can tell you they are beautiful, allowing you to watch TV at any time of the day or night.

If OLED isn’t your thing, then there’s the new Neo QLED product line up launched in April. We have the Neo QLED 8K 75″ TV as our main television, you can can snag a few dollars off these. Not sure what to do with your old TV? Samsung will pick up, recycle, and give you $100 AUD off your product to take your eligible old TV. Even if it’s years old, as long as it works, and it’s flat screen, you should be able to trade in your old device. So there’s no wastage and no excuse. If you need some new audio for your fancy new TV, or you don’t need a new screen, you can pick up a brand new soundbar with up to 33% off.

Monitors

Televisions aren’t the only big screens in our houses. Computer screens are just as important, if not more since many of us spend a lot of time at our work from home desks. Luckily, if you like OLED and want and anti-glare screen, you can obtain this in a computer monitor. There are a tonne of awesome new Samsung monitors up for sale.

The new line up of Odyssey OLED smart monitors come in 27″ and 32″, and then there’s the ViewFinity Series with 24″, 27″, and 32″ screens. These are up to $700 AUD off.

If you, like me, love the idea of an ultrawide, there are 49″ QLED, OLED, and ViewFinity monitors available up to $500 AUD off. I couldn’t resist and bought two of the 49″ Odyssey OLED G9 monitors—one for me, and one for my husband.

We love them, so keep an eye out for the full review coming very soon! If you want to go even bigger, the Samsung 57″ Odyssey Neo QLED is on special for $800 AUD off. This is the time to upgrade!

Devices and wearables

Big screens are good, but little screens can bring just as much joy. Need a new phone or smart watch? Then jump in on these EOFY sales. The new Galaxy AI is now available on Galaxy S23/S24 series, Z Flip5/Fold5, Tab S9 Series, so there’s no need to wait for fancy new features since they’re already there.

You can save up to 30% on the Galaxy Watch6, and trade in your old watch with a $60 trade in bonus. That’s on top of what’s already available. In the market for a new phone? Get up to $300 off a new Samsung phone, and up to 25% off the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra.

Smart Home

Artificial intelligence (AI) seems to be everywhere these days. And now, it’s in your home. Samsung’s new Smart Home range—called BESPOKE AI—adds AI vision to almost every appliance in your house, including fridges, washers, dryers, vacuums, ovens, and air conditioners. The AI family grows further a brand new lineup of refrigerators.

There’s an internal camera which can pick up 33 individual food items, help with meal plans, understand what items are expiring, and has a screen on the door so you can share photos, messages, or even watch movies from your kitchen.

Whilst I think the AI enabled fridge is good for families, those that don’t meal plan, those who regularly shop and thus aren’t sure what’s in the fridge, and those who don’t want to think about how to put certain items together, for people like me, I decided it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea.

My husband and I shop once a week, plan out every meal, only buy what we need, and only use what we buy. The rest of our house is so connected with large computer monitors, giant TVs, and heaps of smart lighting that we decided the last thing we needed in our kitchen was another screen.

The good news is, regardless of which bucket you fall into—AI Home or good ol’ fashioned—Samsung has products and deals for you. Save up to $500 AUD on fridges, $200 AUD on washers, $450 AUD on dryers, $200 AUD on vacuum cleaners, and up to $500 AUD on air conditioners—split system for the cold months ahead.

If you’re wondering what to do with your old appliances, trade in eligible (working) devices, have Samsung collect them for you when they deliver your new item, and get a further discount on your new product. It’s a win-win-win for everyone.

What else is there?

Not in the market for upgrading your TV or home appliance? Already have a new phone? Then there are still some juicy sales for you. Maybe you need a new pair of earbuds? You can save $120 AUD on the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro. There are plenty of other cool things such as the Samsung Freestyle Portable Projector which you can save $300 AUD.

Check out all the EOFY sales at a glance on the website and upgrade your systems. We loved them so much, that we ended up with two new 49″ Odyssey OLED G9 monitors, a new fridge (the non AI one), and we’re now looking at a new washing machine. It’s the perfect time to buy.
