For the first time, the All-Thumb All-Star basketball games will be played at Marlette High School. The games are set for Friday, June 21.
The night will begin at 6 p.m. with the girls game and the boys game starting around 7:30 p.m. The popular dunk contest and 3-point contests will be featured during the night.
Admission to the event will be $7, with proceeds going to the Thumb Sportswriters Association, to help with its yearly costs to provide awards for area athletes.

Only seniors are eligible to play in the game, per MHSAA rules. The East will be considered the home teams for these games.
